You will fall in love with this wedding from start to finish! Lara and Dwayne are the most gorgeous couple. Along with their bridal party and family this day looks absolutely perfect and makes us wish we were there!
Lara wore the Mitchell Gown, an unabashedly chic and feminine wedding gown. This unique strapless satin mermaid wedding gown with statement bow looks like it walked straight off the runway. By Maggie Sottero.
“I wore the Mitchell dress by Maggie Sottero. The dress made me feel so elegant yet completely stunning at the same time. The simplicity of the dress was so angelic and the bow was something else!” – Lara

THE FIRST SIGHT
Dwayne and I met at school. However we did not speak to each other as he was 2 years older than me, but we knew of each other . Over the years we re kindled and started a roller coaster of a relationship we did long distance for a year as Dwayne moved to Queensland for a year for work purposes. He moved back after a year as it was putting so much pressure on our relationship. He moved back and we have been together for 5 years since that.
THE PROPOSAL
The proposal was a complete surprise which was took place at the Price Hotel in St Kilda. Dwayne had hired out a private room and lit candles everywhere with a red carpet. My best friend and family were all a part it, it was ABSOLUTELY magical!
THE VENUE
We chose the Park Melbourne as we loved the fact that it was on the lake also the dark moody vibes really worked well with all the things I had envisioned for the decor.
FAVOURITE MOMENT
Our favourite part of the wedding would have to be having everyone coming together after the Covid lock down to share in on our special day.
THE DRESS
I wore the Mitchell dress by Maggie Sottero. The dress made me feel so elegant yet completely stunning at the same time. The simplicity of the dress made me feel so angelic and the bow was something else! Funnily enough, I never imagined myself in a dress like this, I tried on so many that were my style but the Mitchell dress was a dress I tried on to try and be open to different styles. I put it on and fell in love with it instantly.
FINDING THE ONE
Absolutely amazing! Catherine helped me find my dream dress at the Brunswick Boutique.
TIPS FOR ALL THE BRIDES TO BE
Advice would be to plan ahead, be organised and just enjoy the moment with your partner as the day comes and goes within the blink of an eye.
