This couple, this dress and this location are a dream! You will fall in love with Jacquie, Adrian and their stunning wedding!

Jacquie wore the 19-101 Berta Gown.

“From the start I fell in love with the style, fit and detail of a Berta. After falling in love with the Athens Collection, I decided to book in for the trunk show. I took a few of my bridesmaids, including my sister-in-law who had purchased her Berta from RC a few years prior. I tried on a few different styles until I found the one that had the fit, detail and sparkle I was looking for.” – Jacquie

THE FIRST SIGHT

Adrian and I met at work where there was an instant attraction from day one. After a few weeks we started to casually catch up for coffees, this quickly lead to after work dinners. We both knew early on how we felt for each other and decided to make it official.

THE PROPOSAL

We were in our second year of dating when Adrian popped the question. We had discussed our future in the months leading up and I knew it was only a matter of time. As an end of uni celebration, Adrian took me for lunch to Mount Lofty House. When we arrived, a gentlemen served us champage and asked if we wanted a tour of the venue. As we walked into the underground cellar, candles and rose petals were scattered throughout. Adrian got on one knee and the rest is history.

THE VENUE

We decided to get married at Mount Lofty House where Adrian proposed. Mount Lofty House is known for the amazing views, food, service and accomodation. We looked at one other venue, however the decision was already made. I loved the views, history and detail of the venue.

FAVOURITE MOMENT

Where to start! The reception was definitely my favourite part. I loved seeing my vision come to life and being around my new husband. Once all the formalities were done, dancing the night away with our friends and family was a special moment I cherish.

THE DRESS

From the start I fell in love with the style, fit and detail of a Berta. After falling in love with the Athens Collection, I decided to book in for the trunk show. I took a few of my bridesmaids, including my sister-in-law who had purchased her Berta from RC a few years prior. I tried on a few different styles until I found the one that had the fit, detail and sparkle I was looking for.

FINDING THE ONE

My bridal party and I had an amazing experience in the bridal suite at Armadale. I was unsure which Berta to get as there were so many different styles to choose from. Being from interstate added some pressure on picking the perfect dress in a short amount of time. Maria and Jo were amazing in helping me choose the right dress.

TIPS FOR ALL THE BRIDES TO BE

Enjoy the process, the long stressful months of planning are worth seeing your vision come to life. Take a step back to take in every moment as the day goes extremely fast. The key to a happy relationship is to have patience and listen to your partner.
