RC – How did you meet your husband?
Simone – I meet my husband when i was out one night at a friends birthday in 2008 it sounds so silly but for me it was love at 1st sight it was like the music stopped and it felt like it was only him and i in the place which was packed his eyes and smile just got me and we both couldnt take our eyes off each other all night.
RC – The proposal?
Every year Gavin (my now husband) takes me away to the sunshine coast Mooloolaba, the day that he popped the question was our 4 years anniversary 11th of october 2014 we had such a perfect day then at night gavin took me to my favourite restaurant spice bar Mooloolaba we was sitting outside on the deck over looking the beach,the weather was perfect beautiful and warm and got to watch the sun setting over the beach while eatting a beautiful dinner.
After dinner gavin said it was a perfect night for a walk along the beach the moon was beautiful glowing up the water we was walking hand in hand then gavin stopped told me to turn around he took my hands and after hearing everything I could of dreamed of and more he asked me to marry him I couldn’t hold back my tears of happieness and said YES YES YES YES YES YES million times yes.
RC – Is there a particular reason as why you chose your venue?
Yes we chose Mooloolaba surf club which is right in-front of where Gavin asked me to marry him right on the beach so it was perfect and hold so many amazing memories.
RC – Your favourite part of your wedding?
Simone – Honestly it was seeing Gavin’s face as I walked towards him I felt so much love i felt my heart could explode walking down the aisle all i could see was him smiling at me.
RC – How your dress made me feel?
My goodness what can I say I was soooo in love with my dress I was made about it since the very first time I put it on. It made me feel like all my dreams had come true.It made me feel lucky and very blessed,i felt like a queen and i didn’t want to ever take it off.I look at it everyday and I get tears of happiness in my eyes. LOVE LOVE LOVE MY DREAM WEDDING DRESS.
RC – Your bridal shopping experience?
I had such a fun time I took my 3 sisters and My mum to try dresses on,we went to 2 places 1st and couldnt find anything like what I was looking for then I went to Raffaele Ciuca in Armadale, and OMG I knew from the second I walked in that I was going to find my dream dress here all the ladies are so welcoming and so lovely so friendly and they are just so helpful.
I told them what sort of dress I was looking for and they gave me some really beautiful ones.Then I tried on one and I just was instantly inlove everyone agreed so I said a big fat yes to the dress.
RC – Tips for brides to be?
1.Take your time and try to enjoy every single moment it is so true when people say how fast the day goes it truly does so try and relax and just enjoy it.
2. Don’t be scared to be very emotional it’s ok and very normal but make sure you have tissues handy.
3. Take a spare pair of shoes to change into as it’s a huge day and your feet get super tired so make sure you have something to change into so you are comfortable.
4. Good luck have the best day and just enjoy it I wish I could go and do it all again as It truly is the best day of your life.
