Following their day to a modern and chic reception at the trendy Red Scooter located in Melbourne’s suburb of Balaclava. After our first date we realised we had known each other through family when we were younger. THE PROPOSAL We were dating for 2 years before he finally proposed June 24, 2016! He organised a romantic getaway to stay at The Langham for the weekend. Once we reached the door of the room, he told me to ‘close my eyes’, and at that point I knew something was up! As soon as we walked through the door, the bed had a big love heart filled with rose petals and he got down on one knee, and reached for a box in pocket and asked me to be his wife! And of course I said yes after I attacked him with excitement! It’s a moment I will never forget, it was perfect! THE VENUE After visiting numerous venues in Melbourne, we decided to visit Red Scooter and where we instantly feel in love with the décor, the staff and the vibe! FAVOURITE MOMENT Seeing my husband at the church! Nothing can describe the feeling of seeing the person you love waiting for you at the alter. THE DRESS I LOVE my wedding dress it was absolutely perfect! It was everything I wanted and more! Overall, I tried on 5 dresses before I picked the ONE! FINDING THE ONE Finding my dream wedding dress at Raffaele Ciuca was a wonderful experience! The staff were friendly, made me feel comfortable and made it an easy process! ADVICE FOR OTHER BRIDES Don’t stress, enjoy the day! Walk slow, talk slow, drink slow! I found it very helpful to have event stylist with me every step of the planning process.
