#RCREALBRIDE Tynelle found more than a job when she went for a job interview that introduced her to her now-husband. Tynelle + Mervyn had a sun-kissed, rustic wedding in a Melbourne Wedding at Potters reception surrounded by rolling hills and vines. Tynelle looked breath taking in her Demetrios 626 gown. A romantic beaded lace form fitting fit n flare gown featuring a V-neckline with lace straps that transition to an illusion back with button closures.

THE FIRST SIGHT
Funny story, I met my husband at a job interview. He was the actual person interviewing me for the job!! I ended up being successful for the role and he ended up being my boss for 4 months. I didn’t think anything of him as we are so different. Never in a million years did I think only a couple of years later he would end up being my husband. I laugh now and often say to him, “you hired me and then you wifed me”. Our first date was at a café called Vanilla in Oakleigh and for someone who is normally loud and confident, I was extremely shy and nervous.
THE PROPOSAL
I was with Merv for 1 year before he popped the question. I was on a plane on my way back from Tasmania. I arrived home to a house full of candles and rose petals. He was no where to be seen but his cousin was standing in our kitchen filming me and my reaction.
As I walked to the bench there was a note that said ‘Welcome home, please take a seat on the couch and press play on the laptop’. I made my way over to the laptop where a montage of our memories was playing (still no Merv in site) the last picture appeared which said ‘Ty will you marry me?’ Then as I looked up, Merv appeared from our bedroom, got down on one knee and asked me to marry him.
THE VENUE
We were having a look on easy weddings and stumbled across a venue called Potters Reception, this also happened to be the same venue that a couple of our friends got married at. We drove down on a beautiful sunny day, walked in and fell in love. It was the only venue we looked at and just knew that this was where we wanted to celebrate and create our memories. The venue is down in Warrandyte and the scenery is gorgeous. It had a stunning rustic look yet still so classy.
FAVOURITE MOMENT
My favourite part of the day was waking up knowing I was going to marry my best friend. Being able to share this with our loved ones made it as special as it was. The entire day was a blast. It was the most beautiful Autumn day and the sun was shining all day. Everybody looked beautiful and it was humbling to see so many people laughing and smiling.
THE DRESS
1 one week after Merv proposed, I walked into Raffaela Ciuca in Armadale and found my dress that day. It all seemed too good to be true but when you know, you know. My dress was on another level of gorgeous. The designer was Demetrios. My favourite feature was the low open back. The dress made me feel so elegant and sexy all at the same time.
FINDING THE ONE
Maria was the beautiful lady who helped me find my dress. Instantly I knew she was genuine and passionate about her job. She made me feel so welcome and I knew I could trust her from the moment we met. She grabbed the Demetrios gown as she thought it would look stunning on me. I put it on and fell in love. It was the one!
ADVICE FOR OTHER BRIDES
My tip would be to enjoy the journey. It’s a crazy ride but have faith that it will all come together. Smile, laugh and take in every moment. My advice to keep a happy relationship would be never forget your why’s. Why you fell in love and why you wanted to spend the rest of your lives together. Communicate and laugh. Life is too short.
