You really never know who your soul mate is! As Seepair and Brad told us their first date didn’t go as well as two people would have hoped we were hanging on every word as their love and affection grew while Seepair was overseas on holidays and Brad flew to her to confirm that connection was real in their second attempt. #RCREALBRIDE Seepair wore the breathtaking Palpito gown by La Sposa. A very elegant mermaid design in georgette, a very flowing fabric with plenty of movement. A form-fitting wedding dress that accentuates the femininity of the body’s curves, with a draped V-neck that is gathered at the waist. And a spectacular jewellery detail on the back that complements the draped V-neck with a wonderful cascade of gemstone chains that gives the dress lots of sparkle, style and personality. Photography: Ashleigh Haase Photography THE FIRST SIGHT Brad and I were friends for quite sometime. Brad eventually asked me out for lunch one day. In all honesty, the first date was not the greatest and I was going away for a few months so I didn’t think much of us. A few weeks go by and we started to talk via online – we were talking for a while and this is where the romance really started. I grew really fond of him. Shortly after Brad booked a flight to meet me on my holiday in Thailand. Since then we have been inseparable. THE PROPOSAL It happened in one of the most beautiful places on Earth…in the Maldives. I was sun-baking in the afternoon sun while Brad was snorkeling. Brad returned from the water and told me that he’s found something in the water. I went over to the edge and stared at the crystal blue water, I turned around and Brad was on one knee. My first reaction was for Brad to get back into the water and find more of these magical rings but then he proceeded to tell me all the things he loved about me. It was beautiful. THE VENUE We both love nature and Werribee mansion has some beautiful gardens to enjoy. We adored the style of the building but also loved the modern twists on the ground. We live close to the city and wanted to feel a little different from our normal lifestyle. The Mansion hotel and spa was so convenient for us and we stayed there the night before and the night of our wedding. We visited the Mansion a couple of times before the big day. We love the sunset there with the beautiful lighting. We thought it was great for our guest to explore and enjoy the surroundings in their own time while we had our photos done. FAVOURITE MOMENT Brad: My favorite part was first seeing Seepair walk in the doors and how beautiful she looked. Then holding her hand and speaking from her heart with her vows and giving me the gift from her family! It was so sweet. Seepair: My favorite part was the effort we both put into or wedding day. We decorated our own wedding ceremony and reception, we went to the flower market at 3am in the morning. Brad made our wedding cake that was super yummy. I made all the flower decorations and the bouquets. On our wedding day we had no real concept we both just did what we liked. I said to all my family and friends that we just wanted to make the day easy-going, fun and be filled with a lot of love on the day. I wanted to see everyone smiling, dancing and happy. But really in short my favorite part was when I became Brad’s beautiful wife. THE DRESS I used to work as a stylist, and now I own a nail salon in the city so have and still do love fashion. When I first was thinking about my wedding dream dress it was always simple white with no lace. When I first tried on my wedding dress it just felt so right – Classic and simple but still with a modern style. I loved it so much and had so many compliments on how beautiful it looked. FINDING THE ONE The staff at Raffaele Ciuca Bridal were very helpful. My stylist understood exactly what I liked and she helped me find 3-4 dresses that fits perfectly into my ‘dream dress’ profile. Was a beautiful experience and very easy to deal with. Thank you again so much. ADVICE FOR OTHER BRIDES Always treat each other with respect and never forget to always communicate. Keep it fresh and make time for each other.
