RC – How did you meet Terrence? Terrence and I met on the 24th of November 2012 , it was a spontaneous night a group of us from work decided to make drinks at Republica in St Kilda our end of year break up/ Christmas drinks. On the day I was reluctant to go however I swore to myself I wasn’t going unless I found something new to wear. I remember telling the shop assistant dress me as if I’m going to meet the man of my dreams tonight. hahah it was such a massive joke. As I promised I went to my Christmas party and instead of chilling out with my workmates there Terrence was knocking on a glass door trying to gain my attention… for me I was taken by his charm and so there the story goes on 4 years later we go married! RC – How did Terrence propose? He was a cutie this night although I saw it coming as we discussed it a lot and we had already achieved so much together he was still so nervous on the night. He took me to number 35 restaurant at the Sofitel. He gave a little speech promising to be the best husband and father that he could be and dropped to one knee… was perfect. RC – Is there a particular reason as to why you chose your venue? We chose The Park Venue at Albert Park because it suited Terrence and I. The Park has a beautiful style to it ranging from elegance with the stunning chandeliers to the black walls high metal roofing and a modern feel with a mirrored bar. We loved that it was a blank canvas that you could interpret your day to however you wanted to. We also knew we didn’t want to get married in a church so The Park has a balcony that you can turn into a stunning ceremony. Especially still being able to fit both our Italian families there too 🙂 Melbourne events group who look after The Park are so helpful and they always there when you need them. RC – Your favourite part of the wedding? Walking down the aisle with my dad holding my hand and seeing Terrence crying which is something I don’t ever see. Having my dad by my side walking me to my husband to be was so special to me. RC – How was your bridal shopping experience at Raffaele Ciuca? Joanne from the Armadale store she is such a beautiful soul. I felt like I knew her for years. She made me feel so comfortable. Her nurturing nature made me feel confident and excited to wear my dress. I trusted her opinion 100% RC – How did the dress make you feel? Amazing. I’m not the most confident women but that dress made me feel ready for my big day and so comfortable in my skin. Made me feel beautiful. RC – Advise for brides to be? Be true to yourself! Do what makes you and your partner happy!!. At the end of the day the ones that look back on your day and hold it close to their hearts is you and your partner. So relax enjoy the experience. For me I had the perfect dress and the perfect man I couldn’t have been happier.
