THE FIRST SIGHT
On a cruise to the South Pacific.
THE PROPOSAL
We were in Greece and Michael had organised a surprise sunset cruise around the Aegean Sea. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I started laughing thinking he was joking but he wasn’t. It was perfect. We sailed around after taking photos of the sunset and then we headed back to the hotel room which he had decorated with roses and tea light candles.
THE VENUE
Balgownie in the Yarra Valley were amazing. They said yes to everything we wanted.
THE FAVOURITE MOMENT
Everything! Meeting Michael at the end of the alter and the reception.
THE DRESS
FINDING THE ONE
Maria was amazing. It was the second dress I tried on and it was perfect. I had a bad experience at another bridal store but Maria put me at ease and was delightful.
ADVISE
Relax and if things go wrong on the day embrace them…. let someone else deal with it.
Have checklist of what you need to tick off. Lists were my life saver.
Get EVERYTHING in writing from your vendors….
