Some would say there is no better backdrop in Melbourne than that of the Werribee Mansion and its manicured gardens. Couple Greta + Angelo met while both studying Law at University. The #RCREALBRIDE bride, Greta, looked elegant and classic in her fit and flare gown by ‘Wire’ – Rosa Clara. Down to the very last detail was carefully thought of and resulted in a picture-perfect wedding that we absolutely adored. Congratulations to this gorgeous couple!

THE FIRST SIGHT
Angelo and I met at Law School. When I first saw Angelo I was smitten and thought to myself, “I’m going to marry that man one day”. Little did I know it would happen almost 9 years later!
I didn’t see the proposal coming at all! I had been expecting him to propose on a few occasions prior, such as when we went to Thailand for a romantic holiday, but the proposal happened totally out of the blue.
It was a Tuesday night and Angelo insisted that we go out for dinner to one of our favourite Thai restaurants. During dinner, we shared a bottle of wine and afterwards when we got home Angelo suggested we walk our little dog, Monty. We live by the water near a beautiful marina so after walking on the boardwalk for about 10 minutes Angelo stopped, dropped down on one knee and asked me to marry him!
We had both our ceremony and reception at Werribee Mansion. The venue was perfect as it was elegant and traditional, and truly reflected our style. The gardens surrounding the Mansion were absolutely gorgeous as well! I had always wanted to have a beautiful summer garden wedding with the flowers in full bloom, so Werribee Mansion was the obvious choice.
My favourite part of the wedding was the ceremony and our wedding dance – we did the tango!
I wore a fit and flare wedding dress by Rosa Clara which made me feel beautiful and elegant. My favourite feature of the dress was the beading because it was incredibly intricate and delicate, as well as my long tulle train.
My wedding dress was actually the first dress I tried on (ever!) and after spending all day trying on about 10 dresses in total, I ultimately couldn’t stop thinking about my dress! I went back to Raffaele Ciuca the very same day and locked it all in – best feeling ever.
FINDING THE ONE
The experience was personal and fun – I was able to choose which gowns I wanted to try on. The lady who assisted me was absolutely lovely, and very understanding even though it was a Saturday afternoon and the store was very busy. I would definitely recommend RC to my family and friends for the outstanding service and awesome selection of gowns.
ADVICE FOR OTHER BRIDES
Start your planning and preparations as early as you can because planning a wedding takes an incredible amount of time and effort. Also, once you find your wedding dress, I highly recommend you stop looking at dresses because you may see something else you that you also love and that is not a good place to be!
My tip for a happy relationship is to make sure that you communicate with your fiancé and remember the reason why you are getting married in the first place – it’s all about your love!!
