“My consultant Maria at the Armadale boutique was amazing…she picked this dress off the rack for me and she was so confident I would love it…she was right. Also the ladies at the alterations store were so helpful and accomodating. My experience could’n’t have been better.”

RC – How did you meet Andy?
We met through mutual friends a few years ago. One of Andy’s friends and one of my friends were close friends and we met on a random night out when our groups came together. Andy always says that he wasn’t going to go out that night but something made him…..lucky he did!
RC – How did Andy propose?
It was very low key…just like us! He actually asked me in bed one morning and gave me a temporary ring and said we were going to the jeweller that night so I could pick my ring. We went out for a beautiful lunch to celebrate and headed back home later on. I was upstairs getting changed and came back down to the kitchen where there was a beautiful bunch of flowers, champagne and chocolate sitting on the kitchen bench. As I walked closer there was a beautiful sparkling ring in its box and Andy got down on one knee and proposed properly. It was very romantic!
RC – Is there a particular reason as to why you chose your venue?
We always thought we’d get married at a winery. This was the first venue we looked at, it’s 10mins from our house and as soon as we walked in we could see ourselves getting married
RC – Your favourite part of the wedding?
How do I choose one favourite part…it was the best day of our lives! But just the feeling of all of our loved ones being there for us was so special and unforgettable…there was so much love there!
RC – How did your dress make you feel?
I felt amazing in this dress. It was exactly what I wanted. We made a lot of alterations to the dress…it looked nothing like the sample I tried on in the shop…it turned out perfectly.
RC – How was your bridal shopping experience?
My consultant Maria at the Armadale boutique was amazing…she picked this dress off the rack for me and she was so confident I would love it…she was right. Also the ladies at the alterations store were so helpful and accomodating. My experience could’n’t have been better.
RC – Tips for brides-to-be!
Just enjoy every part….the planning and the day itself. Don’t stress over little things, it’s not worth it. What will be will be…whatever happens, it’s your wedding day so just have fun!
