At the end of last year we teamed up with the creatives on Sydney Road to create this bohemian styled wedding photoshoot at Sault in Daylesford featuring stunning gowns from Raffaele Ciuca by Maggie Sottero, Nicole Spose and Sottero and Midgley. Come to Sydney Road and recreate this look for your wedding day!
Trending wedding colours of 2017 are lavender purple and tones of green. Purple and green are associated with feelings of calm and serenity. The colours can be soothing and settling on a day with so much excitement and joy. Head Pastry Chef at Mary Eats Cake, Jessica Hillbrick, says brides are incorporating colours into every aspect of their special day including their food choices. “We are often asked for treats that complement the couples’ colour palette. It is a beautiful touch,” Jessica says.

Outdoor weddings are the perfect balance of romantic and natural. The stylists at Raffaele Ciuca find that their garden brides opt for slim-fitting lace gowns or soft, romantic, and floaty gowns featuring layers of tulle and lace. The gowns are light to wear, with minimal trains, offering brides comfort and class on their perfect day.

Brides are falling head over heels for the modern day favourite wedding theme: Chic and Luxe Boho. Dreamy and not too demanding, it is elegantly casual and carefree, placing emphasis on comfort and class. The whimsical and wondrous theme is for the free- spirited couple who believe in magic and uniqueness. Creative director of Giant Invitations, Attila Vermes, says that brides are opting for romantically rustic designs on craft paper with a touch of metallic foiling for that luxurious look.
